Okay, so a lot of you have asked about this video, and yes, it was incredibly satisfying. This little guy had managed, all on his own, to pass this bladder stone from his bladder down into his cloaca (rear opening)… and unsurprisingly, it got stuck at the final hurdle. The only thing noticed beforehand was a small amount of blood when he passed a poo. It’s absolutely incredible he got this far, as many stones β€” especially at this size β€” require surgical removal, never mind one this mushroom shape! They’re made of urate crystals and can take months, and in this case, I suspect could be years to form.🐒🐒🐒😳😲And if you’re wondering what the pink appendage is… well, if you’ve never seen a tortoise penis before… you have now.#tortoise
