So tonightโ€™s episode Iโ€™m really excited for as it tells us the tale of Fenella, the Holmfirth tiger. A local legend which I find absolutely fascinating!!! Thank you so much to Rosamund for sharing your family history with us and Iโ€™m excited to share it with you all. Whoโ€™d have thought it, a tiger in Yorkshire! Incredible. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿฏ

Okay, so a lot of you have asked about this video, and yes, it was incredibly satisfying. This little guy had managed, all on his own, to pass this bladder stone from his bladder down into his cloaca (rear opening)โ€ฆ and unsurprisingly, it got stuck at the final hurdle. The only thing noticed beforehand was a small amount of blood when he passed a poo.Itโ€™s absolutely incredible he got this far, as many stones โ€” especially at this size โ€” require surgical removal, never mind one this mushroom shape!Theyโ€™re made of urate crystals and can take months, and in this case, I suspect could be years to form.๐Ÿข๐Ÿข๐Ÿข๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ฒAnd if youโ€™re wondering what the pink appendage isโ€ฆ well, if youโ€™ve never seen a tortoise penis beforeโ€ฆ you have now.#tortoise
